I have been selling real estate in Metro Atlanta for over a decade now, and I can honestly say that I love what I do.

For me, being in Real Estate is about building relationships, and that always begins with trust.  There is a big difference between being just an agent, and being a trusted professional who is your partner in the industry.   My goal is to be your partner.  My business philosophy is to treat people as they wish to be treated, to give the best possible service available, and to always have my client’s best interests at heart.  I am proud to say that the vast majority of my business comes from either personal referrals or long standing relationships.  I consider it an honor that my clients are also my biggest advocates.

 

Even in this market?

Well, no one would deny that the last several years have been tough on us all, as we have dealt with a sluggish economy.  Real Estate has been one of the hardest hit areas.  Homebuilding, which was once a booming industry, has nearly come to a halt.  Foreclosures and short sales have become the norm, and property values have fallen to near record lows.   These times have been truly challenging, and as a Realtor®, I have had to learn to change and adapt to a whole new market.  As hard as it has been at times, I do believe that it has made me a better agent.  I know that I have to work harder and do more than I did in the past to get the same results.  That being said, I still continue to sell more homes each year than many agents will sell in their entire career.  Last year I sold 120 properties, and I expect to sell well over 100 this year as well.  Properties are selling, but in this market, it is more important than ever to hire someone with the experience and knowledge needed to get the job done.

 

Why is experience so important?

There is absolutely no substitute for the knowledge that is gained from experience.  Real Estate is an interesting industry in that the amount of experience someone has is not necessarily directly related to how long they have been in the business.  In real estate, experience is related to how much business you do.  According to the National Association of Realtors®, the average agent closes 7 transactions per year.  Shockingly that is correct, only seven transactions.   As a Broker who completes more than 100 transactions a year, I have not only an extensive knowledge of contracts, but a level of experience that surpasses many that have been in the business for many decades.  On a more personal note, I have lived in the Metro Atlanta Area since 2000, and currently reside in Cobb County with my husband Mark, and our 4 children.   If you are looking to buy or sell, please give me a call.  It would be an honor to assist you.
